Where to Find a Cheap Car Hire Dublin Airport Deal

The title of this post is a question I was asked recently by a friend who was planning on visiting Dublin. Having been there many times myself he would have heard me go on about it quite a bit so who better to ask than this ol blabbermouth – always only too willing to put my 2 cents in ;-)

The thing is you should always rent the car before you arrive into Dublin. There are plenty of good reasons for doing this

1) You will save a lot of money. Just arriving on the scene with no car booked means that you could end up paying a lot more than you expected.

2) Choice of rental car. You may have a specific car in mind that you would like to drive such as a people carrier only to turn up and find they only have small budget cars left or vice versa.

3) You may turn up and find they have no cars left at all. During peak periods cars get booked up fast so often demand can outstrip supply.

My best advice is to use a car rental cost comparison website such as dublinairportcarhire.co.uk. This means you will get a choice of cars from several firms. You could go straight to Hertz or Avis or whoever but by doing that you will only have their fleet of cars to choose from.

Car Hire in France

Visiting France is a wonderful experience and something you will want to enjoy every minute of. There is an abundance of activities to get involved in and sights to see. Depending on what type of holiday you have in mind, it could be a good idea to start arranging everything well before the time you are due to arrive. This means all the essentials. Take out your laptop or a good old fashioned pen and piece of paper and start to jot down exactly what you will require during your stay. If you are responsible for other people then of course you will need to think carefully about what they will require.

Flights should be booked online I think. The days of going to your local travel agent seem to be in the past as they simply cant compete with budget airlines or I guess what I really mean is that they will offer you the same flights as you could find online but with their commission tacked on which is fair enough too of course, They have got to make a living after all.

For hotels I normally try a site like Expedia or one of the big price compare websites. I just find it easiest really. There are a few others I like to check as well but in general its sites like this where I will generally settle on a final choice. Its great to be able to look at the options clearly when weighing up a decision – pros – write em down, cons – write em down – simple stuff.

I use the same kind of system when looking for car hire. Just put in your details and like with hotels you will be given a list of choices from various suppliers. Then its a straightforward choice of choosing between the various offers. A www.hireacar.ie service could be invaluable when visiting.
